Pediatric Dental Hygienists

Debbie
Debbie and her husband, Doug, are Grand Blanc residents where they raised their two children. She has over 42 years of experience in pediatric dentistry. Debbie’s sense of humor sets her apart and easily calms our patients. When she’s not at Grand Blanc Pediatric Dentistry, Debbie enjoys gardening, reading, and cooking. She prides herself on a compassionate and empathetic approach to pediatric dentistry and adores how her previous patients return with their own children. When Debbie’s here with us, you can find her in the flower and bumblebee-themed room!

Karen
Karen has been a pediatric dental hygienist for over 36 years. She is exceptional at helping anxious patients relax for dental care. When she’s not helping our patients brighten their smile, she enjoys creative painting, reading, and bike riding. As a mother of two amazing adult children, she gives each patient her undivided attention and care as if they were her own children. Karen takes pride in her ability to encourage and strengthen each child’s confidence, and to obtain x-rays on even the most challenging patients. You can find Karen in our ocean-themed room! Don’t forget to ask Karen about her love of Michigan State. GO GREEN!

Kara
Kara and her husband, who have been together for 17 years, live in Flushing and have two beautiful children. Kara has been a registered dental hygienist for 14 years, and her calm nurturing presence allows her to soothe and comfort nearly any patient. Outside of work, you can almost always find Kara snuggled in with a good book, a cozy blanket, and a hot cup of coffee. When she’s not reading, she enjoys camping, seasonal outdoor activities, and traveling to Chicago or Nashville with her family. With a love for pizza like no other, she would never turn down a slice! You can find Kara in our bird-themed room!

Lisa
Lisa has been a dental hygienist for over 36 years now, with 23 of those years being in pediatrics. As a mother of four adult children and grandmother to one little boy, she is a naturally gentle and nurturing soul — this shows in how she treats each and every one of her patients. She loves having fun with her patients and making appointments seem less daunting. Her long-term goal is to watch her patients grow up, establish special connections with them along the way, and eventually graduate each patient to an adult dental office with a positive outlook on dentistry! When she’s not at the office, Lisa loves anything sunshine, outdoor, and water-related: gardening, boating, kayaking, or simply hanging out on the beach — you name it and she’ll be there! She also enjoys reading, and spending quality time with her family and grand-dog named Luna, a two-year-old Australian Shepard/Shelty mix! You can find Lisa in our frog-themed room!
