Why A Pediatric Dentist?
Has your child ever begged you not to leave the dentist? Impossible you say? Not at our office. It could be our gentle touch and special way with kids. Our pediatric specialists and staff love children and are specially trained to put them at ease. At Grand Blanc Pediatric Dentistry, we teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth and just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun.

Sedation
For children who have anxiety about the dentist, hyper-sensitivity or special needs, we offer a gentle and compassionate oral health experience that soothes and comforts. We use safe sedation methods and choose the best option based on the procedure itself and the child’s specific needs. Custom care is our specialty!
Tongue and Lip Ties
Oral restrictions and tethered oral tissues (TOTs) can affect oral function from birth into childhood and beyond. Many of these TOTs can be easily treated in our office utilizing our CO2 LightScalpel Laser to assist with gaining better oral posture and function. Not only do we screen every patient but we accept referrals from Lactation Consultants, Speech Pathologists, Pediatricians among other health professionals for evaluation and treatment if appropriate.
Dental Restorations
It is important to treat a baby tooth that contains a cavity, as the decay can spread to the developing adult teeth. Fillings are one of the most common restorative treatments for kids, and this type of restoration strengthens the damaged tooth and prevents the decay from spreading further.
Preventative Care
We strive to instill a passion for good oral hygiene within each child that comes to our office. As part of your child’s dental health team, we can help establish excellent oral health habits that last a lifetime. In addition to maintaining healthy habits at home, regular teeth cleanings at Grand Blanc Pediatric Dentistry will prevent early childhood tooth decay and lead to optimal oral health.
